Joe Turso is the CEO/President & Chief Strategic Officer for ThatsMyLife
Company. ThatsMyLife Company develops one-of-a-kind technology solutions using
a patent pending print on demand operating software to support the consumer
needs in the BtoB, BtoE and BtoC market segments. Joe is the lead executive
facilitating Think Tank Meetings to promote innovative strategies, designs and
business revenues for ThatsMyLife Company. Joe works with our Business
Requirements Team to ensure important data is collected to establish reusable
architecture and software solutions to minimize cost and maximize ROI.
He is responsible for assisting clients with internet law issues as well as
providing in-house counsel and working with outside counsel on business
matters, copyrights, trademarks, patent, and eCommerce agreements.
While at Land America Insurance Inc., Joe was the Director & VP Strategic
Planning responsible for leading business teams in business planning,
qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment proposals. Established
strategies to identify key business markers and build authenticity into
products. Joe was responsible for business development including joint
ventures.
Prior to Land America, Joe worked for Wachovia Bank, NC (formally FUNB &
Butcher & Singer Merger) as the Senior Vice President Investment
Banking/Capital Markets responsible for developing the business strategies to
increase profits from $46 million to $75 million over two years.
Joe attended Wharton School of Business eCommerce Program, University of
Pennsylvania, 2000, Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, DE. and St.
Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA.
Gery D. Dorazio is Chief Technologist and Vice President for That’sMyLife
Company, a Charlotte, NC-based firm dedicated to the design and production of
on-demand, multi-media ASP publishing solutions. Mr. Dorazio is an entrepreneur
whose more than 25-year career has concentrated in both information technology
and electrical engineering. His professional endeavors span multiple
disciplines that include computer and information systems, photonics and
optical communications.
In 1992, he founded EnQue Corporation, which was established to provide such
technical services as software design and development; hardware specifications
for communications and computer systems; and internet web site development,
including eCommerce solutions. Among his clients are the Corporate Development
Institute; Zapata Engineering; IBM; and Waveguide Solutions.
The Pennsylvania native previously worked for the IBM Corporation in NY and NC
in mainframe and test equipment development using PC-based platforms. He
received an IBM IPD Division award for work on PC-based test equipment as well
as other awards for mainframe cycle time reduction and laser printer print head
development.
Mr. Dorazio holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from
Pennsylvania State University; a Master’s degree in Business Administration
from Queen’s College of North Carolina; and a Master’s degree in applied
physics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the
Optical Society of America. He is a registered Professional Engineer in North
Carolina and assists the National Council of Engineering Examiners (NCEES) with
the national Professional Engineering exams in Electrical and Computer
Engineering. He is a member of Eta-Kappa-Nu (electrical engineering honor
society), Tau-Beta-Pi (engineering society), and Sigma Pi (physics). He was a
Blumenthal Fellow while working toward his MBA at Queens. He won the Department
of Physics Award for Excellence in Research as a graduate assistant, UNC
Charlotte; the UNC 2001 Master’s Thesis Award; and the Council of Southern
Graduate Schools best Master’s Thesis in Mathematics, Physical Sciences and
Engineering Award for his thesis titled "Novel Design of an Ultra-Short Pulse
Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL)."
